Prison Rodeo

Prison Rodeo was formed in the early 2000's in Orange, CA. The founding members are Jerome (Shifty) Ryan on guitar/vox, Keith Irish on bass, and Johnny Rage on drums. They meet each playing while playing in the rockabilly scene in the late 1990's and early 2000's. They originally formed Prison Rodeo as a hard-hitting cow punk band, but have recently reinvented it as a country western band that has hints of the past cow punk years. Jerome is currently the primary songwriter and is on acoustic guitar and is backed by the original rhythm section.  The current sound is upbeat, fun and designed for anyone one that like old country and a beer. 

We recently records 27 songs and put them on two albums, "Thirteen" and "I Believe in Halloween". The band is currently reinventing their sound and will be releasing an EP with a few of the updated tunes here soon!
